Zara Phillips will fly out to New Zealand as soon as she can to talk with her English rugby husband, as a scandal continues to swirl around the couple.
Controversy has surrounded England captain Mike Tindall after CCTV footage was uploaded to YouTube website showing him getting cosy with an unidentified blonde woman at a Queenstown bar last Sunday night.
Tindall married the 30-year-old Queen's granddaughter less than two months ago in Edinburgh.
Zara Phillips originally planned to join Tindall in two weeks to support him during the remainder of the Rugby World Cup.
But now she would jump on the first flight over once her horse riding schedule allows, a source close to Ms Phillips told The Mirror.
The royal was competing in a three-day horse trial event in Ireland over the weekend when the YouTube footage was released, and she has other horse commitments this week.
"As far as Zara is concerned nothing has changed, she wants to go to New Zealand to be with her husband," the source said.
"But the fuss caused over Mike's night out has been unsettling for her, so she wants to see Mike as soon as she can."
Meanwhile, security guard Jonathan Dixon, who sparked the stir by uploading the footage to YouTube, made a brief appearance in Queenstown District Court yesterday after he was charged with accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes.
Judge Kevin Phillips remanded Dixon without plea to seek legal advice.
The defendant was not to be within 100m of Altitude bar, in downtown Queenstown, as a condition of bail.
He is due to appear again on October 3.
