Situation:
A series of fronts over western and lower South Island become slow moving today. Tomorrow, the slow moving fronts over the South Island sink southwards, while an east to northeast flow covers the North Island. The northeast flow oner the North Island pushes across the rest of the country on Monday while a low pressure system to the north and west of New Zealand approaches. On Tuesday, the trough of low pressure moves onto the North Island, and across the South Island. During Wednesday, the trough of low pressure becomes slow near eastern Bay of Plenty, while a front from the Tasman Sea moves over the South Island.
