Situation:
A slow moving fronts over the South Island sink southwards today, while an east to northeast flow covers the North Island and spreads across the South Island during Monday. A low may develop just north of the North Island. There is considerable uncertainty where the low moves on Tuesday, but it could cross over the northern North Island. A trough over the Tasman Sea should move onto the South Island during Wednesday, then onto the North Island on Thursday while high pressures are rising to the west.
