Youths survive 100m car plunge

Three youths survived a spectacular crash after the car they were riding in plunged over a 100m cliff into a ravine in southwestern Austria.

The accident happened yesterday when the youths' vehicle went out of control and over the cliff in the province of Carinthia.

The youths were taken to a local hospital with undetermined injuries, police said, when their car landed on its roof at the foot of the cliff after tumbling numerous times.
