A pair of children under 10 and a man are dead in a suspected murder-suicide in Australia's northern territory.
Police found the bodies of the two children and a 23-year-old man when were called to a house in Darwin's northern suburbs this morning (local time), ABC News reported.
They are describing the deaths as a murder-suicide and have ruled out the use of a gun or knife in the killings, it said.
Detectives described the murder scene as "horrific", a report said.
It is understood the bodies were found about 8am on Tuesday, after police responded to a call from someone concerned at the children's welfare.
