Scientists from the University of Hawaii say they have discovered the wreckage of a "monster" World War II-era Japanese submarine in waters off the island of Oahu.
The Japanese I-401 was found during test dives by a Hawaii Undersea Research Laboratory submersible, 820m below the water's surface, according to John Wiltshire, acting director of the laboratory.
