A man is due to front court charged with attempted murder over a knife-wielding rampage at a Melbourne train station which injured five women.
A 47-year-old Carnegie man has been charged with attempted murder, intentionally causing serious injury, affray and making threats to kill over the incident at Glenhuntly train station yesterday.
Police say five women were injured, including four women pushed off the platform and on to the tracks in the attack.
Three victims, including a woman in her 80s, remained in The Alfred Hospital in stable conditions last night.
