A man had to cling to the bonnet of a car for 4km as its driver allegedly attempted to throw him off in Sydney.
New South Wales police said the man and his wife were travelling along Parramatta Rd in Sydney's inner west when they were involved in a minor collision with a Peugeot hatchback. After the Peugeot failed to stop, the couple caught up with it and approached it. The Peugeot driver allegedly began to drive at the couple, forcing the man on to the bonnet.
Police said the Peugeot then allegedly went on a 4km drive, running a red light, and accelerating and braking to try to throw the man off the bonnet.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with drink driving and dangerous driving. The man on the bonnet was unhurt.
