Thai police are investigating the bizarre death of a western man whose throat was slit and body was found tied to a concrete pole in the ocean.
The man's body was discovered by a jetski driver who raised the alarm off Samae Beach. The dead man's throat had been slit, Asia One reports.
The man's name or nationality is still unknown. He was found wearing a diving suit and flippers.
The 33-year-old Cambodian jetski driver who found the body told police he had been circling around the area to warn tourists against riding in the rocky area of the beach, Asia One also reports.
Samae Beach is located in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district on Koh Larn, a small island of the Pattaya coast in Thailand's east. Its white, sandy beach with clear blue water is visited by 800 to 3000 people a day during its high season.
