An animal handler at the Billabong Sanctuary in Townsville was savagely attacked by a crocodile on Monday during a feeding show.
The 2.5 metre croc launched at Renee Robertson and bit her arm. Footage shows Ms. Roberston on the ground as another staff member hits the reptile with a stick.
Roberston suffered serious arm injuries but is expected to make a full recovery. A further eight people are being treated for shock.
Despite the horrific attack, a representative of the sanctuary said the crocodile will not be put down.
