An elderly man charged with murdering a fellow nursing home resident with a walking stick during an argument about false teeth has died.
Roy Arthur Patmore, 77, was listed in the West Australian Supreme Court for allegedly murdering David Odgers in November.
Patmore was originally charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after allegedly striking 87-year-old Mr Odgers in the chest with a walking stick at their Belmont Lodge residential home, Perth.
Odgers died in Royal Perth Hospital a week after the incident and the charge against Patmore was upgraded to murder in March. Patmore, who was suffering Alzheimer's disease, died last month.
