Volcanoes active in Alaska

The ash plume from Cleveland Volcano rose to a height of nearly 4.6km above sea level, said the Alaska Volcano Observatory.

Three Alaskan volcanoes are setting off frequent tremors and minor bursts of ash or steam. The others are Tanaga Volcano and Mt Spurr.
