Vanuatu installs volcano mail

Vanuatu has installed a post box on the rim of Mt Yasur, an active volcano on the island of Tanna.

Tourists can reach the base of Mt Yasur by 4WD vehicle or on horseback, and then face a climb to the crater rim. There they will be able to buy specially made singed postcards that will be collected daily.
