The United States has secret evidence of multiple UFOs travelling faster than the speed of sound and flying in patterns hard to replicate – in sightings by members of the military.
John Ratcliffe, the former US director of national intelligence, said a report due to be released in June will include information that's "difficult to explain".
The report will include declassified accounts of UFOs breaking the sound barrier without creating a sonic boom – and making movements that are "hard to replicate", Ratcliffe told Fox News on Friday.
Ratcliffe served as the national intelligence chief in former president Donald Trump's administration from 2020 to early 2021. He said the administration had tried to release the UFO report earlier, but had trouble condensing the information into a publishable form.

"There's now a report that will be issued by the Pentagon, by the Secretary of Defence and the Director of National Intelligence," he said.
"I actually wanted to get this information out and declassify it before I left office but we weren't able to get it down into an unclassified format that we could talk about quickly enough.
"But frankly, there are a lot more sightings than have been made public. Some of those have been declassified.
"And when we talk about sightings we're talking about objects that have been seen by navy or air force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery, that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain.
"Movements that are hard to replicate – that we don't have the technology for, or travelling at speeds that you know exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.
"So, in short, things that we are observing that are difficult to explain."
He said there's "quite a few" of those types of sightings that will be published when the report is released on June 1.
He added US security officials had looked for "plausible" explanations, including weather disturbances or unknown technologies from foreign powers.
"But there are instances where we don't have good explanations for what we've seen. And when that information becomes declassified I'll be able to talk a little more about that."
He added UFO sightings had been made all over the world.
"And when we talk about sightings, the other thing I will tell you, it's not just a pilot or just a satellite or some intelligence collection," he said. "Usually, we have multiple sensors that are picking up these things.
"Some of these are unexplained phenomena, but there's quite a few more than have been made public so I think it will be healthy for as much of this information to get out there as possible."
