US Republican Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann has revealed that geography is not her strong point with a Libyan mix-up.
In Wednesday's Republican debate, Bachmann attempted to criticise President Obama's foreign policy, but instead highlighted her limited knowledge of geography.
"The president, he put us in Libya. He is now putting us in Africa," said Bachmann.
Bachmann was referring to Obama's recent announcement that he will be sending 100 U.S. troops to Uganda to help battle rebels from the Lord's Resistance Army, implying that Libya - a North African state - was not in that continent.
American and European forces began a military campaign in Libya earlier this year, unleashing warplanes and missiles in a military intervention on a scale not seen since the Iraq war.
