The US would consider providing incentives to Iran if it agreed to resume a suspension on nuclear enrichment activities, President George W. Bush has said.
President Bush, at a White House news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, said the two leaders spent a lot of time discussing strategy on how to resolve the Iranian nuclear crisis.
Iran says it has a right to a nuclear programme, and denies US accusations it is trying to create an atomic bomb.
It says it only wants to enrich uranium to a level suitable for use in atomic power reactors.
