US Govt sues state over migrant law

The Obama Administration has sued Arizona to throw out the state's strict new immigration law and keep other states from copying it.

The lawsuit filed in the federal court in Phoenix said the law, due to take effect on July 29, usurped the United States Government's "pre-eminent authority" under the Constitution to regulate immigration.
