SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 78-year-old fisherman who went missing off Puerto Rico's southern coast after his boat capsized.
Officials said Thursday that Victor Manuel Aponte was fishing with a 58-year-old man who survived after apparently swimming for several hours and reaching land.
The Coast Guard says the two men had gone out fishing Wednesday night in an 18-foot (5-meter) boat and had not returned early Thursday as expected.
