Underwater Photographs of the year: Underwater World

Glaswegian Grant Thomas has been named British Underwater Photographer of the Year 2018.

Thomas now lives in New Zealand. His photo of swans called Love Birds was taken in Loch Lomond, Scotland.

Among the category winners is New Zealander Simone Matucci for Dancing with the giants.

The British-based awards were judged by underwater photographers Peter Rowlands, Martin Edge and Alex Mustard.
