There are claims the story of a group of swimmers who were shocked to discover they had a close encounter with a shark while swimming at Bondi Beach - after they uploaded their underwater photos, is a hoax.
The Huffington Post has cast doubt over the Bondi Beach shark sighting, posting what they call "compelling" evidence proving the story which appeared in The Daily Mail is fake.
The swimmers dived down to a shark net off the coast of the Sydney beach and unknowingly came within metres of the shark.
Personal trainer Spot Anderson, who took the photo, told the Mail it seems the shark was on the beach side of the net.
Mr Anderson was leading a training session where his squad have to swim 10 metres down to the net.
