An undertaker on New South Wales north coast has been charged with stealing jewellery from corpses. Police say the 66-year-old took the items from bodies he'd been asked to bury or cremate. A criminal investigation began in September when a large amount of jewellery was handed in, police said. The undertaker was charged with four counts of larceny and two counts of goods in custody and bailed to appear on January 20.
