The UN is extending the international commission investigation into the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri, enabling a closer look at 14 other bombings that may be linked.
Hariri had accused Syria of meddling in Lebanese politics. Syria denied involvement in the bombing of the Beirut motorcade last year, when Hariri and 22 others died.
The blast led to the so-called Cedar revolution in Lebanon.
