A protest that at times drew thousands of Tamils outside Britain's Parliament has ended after 73 days.
The demonstration, which saw a constant presence in London's Parliament Square, began in early April.
Some protesters have gone on hunger strike, and at least 100,000 people turned out for a march April 11.
Suren Surendiran of the British Tamil Forum said yesterday that the protest was "an opportunity to make the British public aware of our concerns and despair".
