British police are hunting a man suspected of carrying out a triple shooting in northern England.
Officers in Northumbria are searching for Raoul Thomas Moat, suspected of injuring his former partner, killing her boyfriend and wounding a police officer.
The 37-year-old Moat was released from prison last week after serving a sentence for assault.
Police on Sunday appealed to him to get in contact.
Moat's former partner, 22-year-old Samantha Stobbart, is in critical condition in the hospital after she was attacked at a house in Gateshead Saturday. Her boyfriend, 29-year-old Charles Brown, was shot through the chest outside the same house shortly after.
Police say the incident was linked to the shooting of a policeman a few hours later in Newcastle.
