UK Parliament in security alert

LONDON - A security alert led police to seal the entrances and exits to Britain's parliament.

But a police spokeswoman said the alert was now over. She gave no further details of the incident, one of many in the British capital since last Thursday when four bombs ripped through the city's transport network killing 52 people.

All have so far proved to be false alarms.
