A tornado hit the New Orleans area, killing an elderly woman, injuring dozens of other people, and damaging dozens of homes and businesses in a region still trying to recover from Hurricane Katrina.
Stella Chambers, 85, died in the Gentilly neighbourhood, one of the areas hit hardest 18 months ago.
The tornado ripped up the Government-supplied emergency trailer in which she had been living since the hurricane.
It destroyed at least 50 emergency trailers and dozens of homes.
