A newspaper has cited Turkey's Foreign Minister as saying his country will cut diplomatic ties with Israel if it does not apologise for the killing of eight Turks and one Turkish-American.
The Hurriyet Daily News quoted Ahmet Davutoglu as saying last night that if Israel does not apologise and offer compensation to the families of the victims "our diplomatic ties will be cut off."
Davutoglu says Israel must apologise or allow an international inquiry into what happened. He spoke while returning from Kyrgyzstan.
