Sydney's M5 eastbound tunnel has been reopened following emergency repairs after an over-height truck tore up 50m of the tunnel's ceiling.
Officials say a tipper-truck carrying a 14-tonne excavator entered the tunnel, despite emergency warning signs being activated.
The truck brought down a steel beam and ripped the ceiling and the excavator toppled on to its side.
