ANKARA, Turkey (AP) A Turkish court has adjourned until Sept. 9 the trial of a father and son accused of fatally stabbing two women from Northern Ireland.
Recep Cetin and his father, Eyup Cetin, are charged with murdering Marion Graham and Cathy Dinsmore near the Turkish resort of Kusadasi in August 2011.
Recep Cetin confessed to killing the women his girlfriend's mother and her friend but the older man has denied any role in their deaths.
Lawyer Baris Kaska says the trial was adjourned after defense lawyers asked for a review of a medical report on Recep Cetin's sanity.
Recep Cetin said he killed the two after Graham refused to let him marry her daughter.
