A baby in a pram has been hit by a train in Melbourne's southeast.
The baby is not believed to have been hurt, a police spokeswoman said, but that had yet to be confirmed.
The incident occurred at Tooronga train station in Malvern at 11.30am local time.
It is believed the pram accidentally rolled off the platform.
The baby is the second to survive being hit by a train in Melbourne in less than a year.
Six-month-old Saurish Verma survived when the pram he was strapped into rolled off the platform at Ashburton railway station last October and was pushed 30 metres along the tracks by a train.
