Tourists captured the dramatic rescue of a giant anaconda, which had become trapped in bushes behind a resort in Colombia.
The snake was estimated to be around 16ft long and had been spotted injured on the side of the river bank, suffering from a gunshot wound.

French couple Denis and Marie-France Grenouillet videoed the rescue mission, which involved locals bagging up the anaconda and taking it to a nearby lagoon.
In the clip, the locals point out the injuries sustained by the snake as they attempt to coax it from the bushes.
