A Tahitian man saved a three-year-old New Zealand boy who fell into a Gold Coast River last night.
Lucas Wallace was walking across a bridge with his mother when he fell through a gap and into the Nerang River.
Tahitian student Charles Tetahi said he was passing and saw Lucas in the water.
"I saw the boy and he called to me, I didn't have a choice, I just jumped," he said.
