German doctors have revealed photos of what is believed to be the smallest premature baby boy to have survived, born at 25 weeks weighing just 275 grams.
The baby, nicknamed "Tom Thumb", was born by caesarean section at the University of Gottingen last June. Nine months after his birth his parents are finally taking him home.
Three girls have survived lower birth weights, including one born in the United States at just 244g.
