Time-bomb defused in Thailand

Thai explosives experts defused a time-bomb at the Opposition Democrat Party headquarters, six days before a snap election called by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

The bomb, the size of a box of tissues, contained TNT. It was found by a cleaner in the office compound three hours before it was due to explode.
