KEY POINTS:
Canadian police face another internal investigation after a man died, four days after police shot him with a Taser stun-gun - the third man to die in Canada after being shocked by the hand-held weapon.
Robert Knipstrom, 36, died yesterday in hospital, four days after two officers used pepper spray, a Taser and their batons on the British Columbia resident, who reportedly was behaving erratically in a rental store.
The case is being treated as an "in-custody" death and BC's Coroner's Office has launched an investigation along with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The death comes as the Mounties face intense criticism over the death of Robert Dziekanski, a Polish immigrant who died at Vancouver Airport last month after officers shot him with a Taser and manhandled him.
A Nova Scotian man also died last week, 30 hours after being shocked with the Taser at a jail where he was being held on assault charges.
Police described Knipstrom as extremely agitated, aggressive and combative with the officers who responded. He was taken into custody and was conscious and still vocal when taken to hospital, police said.
