Thieves steal odd socks

Thieves hot-footed it with 25,000 ($65,000) of odd socks from a carpark in Ipswich, Britain.

Suffolk Police said 25,000 pairs of non-matching socks in 50 boxes were taken during a raid.

The socks had been destined for stores as part of a promotion in shops this Christmas for the children's book series, The Oddies, which is based on the question: "Where do all the missing odd socks go?"
