A thief in Germany stole a briefcase and threw it away without noticing it contained €10,000 ($19,560) in cash, German authorities said yesterday.
"I think they'll be annoyed when they find out," said a spokesman for police in Duesseldorf. A policewoman later found it - ransacked but still containing the two cash-filled envelopes.
