Terrorists in Southeast Asia are planning a comeback now that the devastating impact of last year's tsunami is over, warns Australia's security agency.
The deputy director-general of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, Ian Cousins, said it suspected attacks had been planned in Indonesia, but after the Boxing Day tsunami these had been put on hold.
"But we can be certain the tsunami has not resulted in any change of strategic direction. We must expect that Australia and its overseas interests will continue to be targeted."
