SHEPHERD'S BUSH UNDERGROUND STATION
The suspect entered Westbourne Park Tube station in west London at 12.21pm holding a small rucksack. He tried to set off a device on a Hammersmith and City line train heading to Shepherd's Bush. He managed to leave the train, which was above ground, and made his way down the track before climbing down into back gardens. He was wearing a dark shirt and trousers and was later reported to be wearing a white vest. He ran past the BBC building in Wood Lane and was last seen on the A40, a minor road.
NUMBER 26 BUS
Muktar Said Ibrahim, also known as Muktar Mohammed Said, 27, entered Stockwell station at 12.25pm. He later got on a Number 26 bus in the Bank area of the City of London carrying a grey and black rucksack. He tried to set off a device on the bus as it headed to Hackney Wick in east London. He got off the bus at Hackney Road at 1.06 pm. Said Ibrahim was wearing a dark jacket over a grey T-shirt and a white baseball cap.
WARREN STREET TUBE STATION
Yasin Hassan Omar also entered the Underground system at Stockwell carrying a small purple rucksack. He attempted to set off a bomb on a northbound Victoria line train between Oxford Circus and Warren Street stations. Witnesses describe seeing Omar at 12.40pm without his rucksack. He vaulted over a ticket barrier at Warren Street station and ran away.
OVAL UNDERGROUND STATION
The unidentified bomber arrived at Stockwell Tube station at 12.25pm with Omar and Said Ibrahim. He got on a Northern line train and attempted to detonate a device before reaching Oval. He got off the train at Oval and was chased by members of the public. The suspect left the station at 12.35pm and ran along Brixton Road, abandoning his navy sweatshirt with a white New York logo on the way. He was last spotted in nearby Tindall Street at 12.45pm.
LITTLE WORMWOOD SCRUBS
A member of the public found a fifth device at an open area in Little Wormwood Scrubs in west London, on Saturday, July 23. Police said the bomb, which had clear similarities with those partially detonated on July 21, had not been hidden and appeared to have been abandoned, possibly by a fifth bomber.
