A teenage girl who was drugged and raped by sex traffickers over a three month period has been rescued by a hero postman who heard her cries for help.
Crystal Allen, 16, says she was repeatedly raped, drugged, beaten and tied to a chair at a property with guard dogs in California.
"They made it impossible [to escape]. They had guard dogs and people that would watch us all the time and not let us leave. I was tied to chairs," Allen told KCRA TV.
Allen feared she wouldn't ever get to see her family again.
That's until a tiny window of opportunity became available after her screams for help were heard by a local postman.
On June 8 Allen was being driven around by her captor when she suddenly grabbed a phone in the car, leaped out and starting running and screaming for help.
Postman Ivan Crisostomo was making a delivery when he heard Allen's distressed cry.

"I hear this crying, this desperate crying. I saw her hiding behind this kind of bush, kind of tree," Crisostomo told Fox 40.
