Peruvian customs officials have arrested a British teenager trying to board a flight to London with some 29kg of cocaine in her suitcase, police say.
At a street value of US$100 per gram, the haul was worth almost US$3 million ($4.43 million).
The 18-year-old woman, Salea Kathun, was detained alongside a young Canadian, Katia Carrilho, who was allegedly holding around 3.5kg of cocaine, after the two were detected by drug-sniffing dogs.
