A teenager accused of trying to run over a policeman near Wollongong was arrested when cops found him hiding under a bed at a house south of Wollongong.
The 17-year-old was first spotted driving a Toyota erratically on Saturday morning.
Police approached the car at a service station in Warilla a short time later, but the vehicle was allegedly driven at one of the officers, hitting his arm.
They chased the teenager to Anthony Street and found him hiding under the bed.
Checks revealed there was a warrant out for his arrest.
The teenager from Waterloo, in Sydney's south, was charged with nine offences, including two counts of robbery in company, assault police officer and car theft.
He is due to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Sunday.
