Three youths who ingested supposed Xanax tablets all needed urgent medical treatment in hospital after they were allegedly sold the drugs.
An Elizabeth Vale resident, in Adelaide's north, allegedly supplied the pills to two teenage boys and a teenage girl and was arrested following a police investigation to identify the source of the drugs.
SA Police on Wednesday morning searched the northern suburbs home where officers seized more than 1400 tablets marked as "Xanax".
However, according to police, the pills were found to be fake and actually contained a variety of illicit substances.
It is alleged some of the tablets were packaged in small bags, which indicated to police they were ready for supply.
