A Qantas flight from Dubai to Sydney was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Perth due to an issue with one of its fuel pumps.
According to 9News Australia the pilot notified passengers on board flight QF2 of the issue and diverted the plane to the closed airport.
A Qantas spokesman said the aircraft landed safely and is now being inspected by engineers.
Passengers have been provided with accommodation and re-booked on the next available flight.
