Talks between Fiji's military rulers and coup leader George Speight have resumed after breaking down earlier today.
The military walked away from the meeting in frustration about one o'clock this afternoon when Mr Speight reportedly presented a new set of demands, but the talks are continuing.
Yesterday it was announced a deal had been struck and an accord would be signed today, and it was expected the 31 hostages who have been held for over a month, would be freed.
But the IRN reporter in Suva, Virisila Buadromo, said it was extremely unlikely the hostages would be released this weekend.
