Pakistan's paramilitary troops have detained 26 suspected militants on suspicion they were involved in recent Taleban attacks in Afghanistan.
Security forces also seized a large cache of weapons and ammunition during a weekend raid on a house in Chaman, a border town northwest of Quetta.
Colonel Abdul Basit said the men were planning more such attacks.
Pakistan says it is doing its best to prevent insurgents from attacking Afghanistan's border regions.
