STOCKHOLM (AP) Sweden's Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt has announced a reshuffle of ministers in his center-right government.
At the official opening of parliament Tuesday, Reinfeldt said the minister for international development cooperation, Gunilla Carlsson has been dismissed. She will be replaced by the current minister for employment, Hillevi Engstrom.
Reinfeldt said Elisabeth Svantesson, a newcomer to government, will take over Engstrom's role.
He didn't explain his reasons for the changes.
Reinfeldt's center-right government came into power in 2006 and was re-elected, with some changes, in 2010.
