Egypt's Suez Canal will be able to accommodate larger oil tankers once a project to deepen it to 20m from 18.9m is complete.
The canal expansion, due to be completed by the end of this year at a cost of US$208 million, means it will be able to handle vessels greater than its present 220,000-tonne limit.
