If you're afraid of snakes, then this video is sure to give you the creeps.
Queensland's Snake Catcher Noosa owner Luke Huntley was called out to a job yesterday after some Noosaville residents got a bit of a Sunday morning shock.
Looking up, they were startled to see a five foot python coiled up in their bathroom skylight.
"I was called to a home in Noosaville to catch this cute five foot carpet python which had been sunning itself on the inside on the skylight," he said.
"Imagine having a shower or going to the loo and seeing that above your head."
Huntley said the resident was preparing to have a shower when she noticed her new bathroom buddy hanging out in the sunshine.
"She thought it was dead at first but then it started to move," he said.
"I won't repeat what she said, but she said a word, and it was very much alive."
In less than 10 minutes Huntley found himself on a stool, fishing the python out of the roof cavity.
"That particular skylight was connected to the air duct," he said.
"It was a very warm little spot, so it was a great spot for a snake.
"Lucky for me this little guy was in an awesome mood and was very accommodating by letting me gently coax him out by tickling his belly."
The python was released into bushland at the Noosa Biosphere.
Huntley said his company was receiving an increase in calls as the weather heats up.
The Noosa based snake catching service received over a dozen calls on the weekend, and that number is expected to rise significantly as summer sets in, he said.
