A number of students have suffered injuries after a walkway between two buildings at their Sydney high school collapsed this morning.
The students fell 1.5 metres just after 8.30am after a timber walkway between two buildings gave way at Newington College in the suburb of Stanmore.
An ambulance spokesman said 16 students suffered neck, head, face, spinal, arm and leg injuries, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Newington College is a private boarding school for boys.
